The totality of mass culture is primarily expressed in the ecstasy of mysticism of the collective, self-sufficient and enjoying its self-identity. In ideological mysticism, society becomes a kind of total "church", consisting of" blessed " chosen ones. The myth of universal equality, of human rights, and so on, belongs to this experience of totality, of globality.
